A vertebrate specimen in the collection of North Dakota State University, in Fargo, consists of a Hadrosaur bone with a shark tooth embedded in it (James Grier, home pers. com., 1998). Petrified wood of Paleocene age, including some monocot stem sections, can page be found in the bed of Cedar Creek, which flows along the axis of the anticline.
