Concretions containing barite range in size from less than 1 foot to 4 feet in diameter and are generally elliptical in shape. They are usually not intact when found on the surface, but this exposes the core material and enables one to determine if the montana particular nodule contains barite. A land and alliance very small percentage of the concretions contain barite crystals. Specimens occur in all exposures of the barite montana zone, but it appears that the concretions in shale adjacent to both the longitudinal and transverse faults contain the highest barite concentrations. The faulted land areas probably created more permeable conditions that concentrated the flow of mineralizing fluids. All alliance concretions from this zone are fractured to some degree, and the pattern of this fracturing can be used to identify these fault zones. The areas along fault planes were subjected to a shearing montana action land that produced a pattern of fracturing that alliance is different from the montana desiccation cracking of a normal septarian concretion. The sheared land concretions consist of a mass of small angular pieces cemented by largely anhedral, pale yellow calcite with alliance small spaces between fragments. They do contain barite, but it is normally in the form of small crystals that are hard to extract unbroken. Desiccated concretions consist of much larger pieces with a blocky or columnal form and large, more planer openings. The best montana crystal-producing concretions have a roughly cubic core surrounded by several polyhedral external blocks. If there was crystallization in the large internal spaces (septa), crystals land were free to grow without interference. In most cases new crystal growth began where openings pinched out or at the apex of sharp edges on concretion sections; these conditions are most common in the lower regions of concretions because the base sections are seldom fractured. When concretions are opened, the septa are often filled with fine shale particles and old ant nests. This material frequently contains dislodged crystals.

CI-66 alliance and CI-67 both lost, he says, because campaigns on their behalf were underfinanced. When the measures were montana unfairly maligned, he land says, proponents did not have the wherewithal to counterattack and set the record straight. In particular, he says strategic management of CI-66 was bungled by United We Stand.

However, the surprise was when these groups were joined by conservative activists and the ordinarily antitax business establishment, alliance including the Montana Taxpayers Association, the state Chamber of Commerce, the Montana Mining Association, and the Montana Contractors Association - a roster that provoked an incredulous double-take from political observers. The typical political montana calculus suddenly didn''t apply. land Why would groups that generally fight high taxes and support unfettered alliance business growth be opposed to constitutional amendments that were crafted to prevent tax increases?
