[FIGURE 9, 11 OMITTED]Generation 3G3 crystals recombine the forms of previous judith growth phases with less variation in habit; these gap forms city include the prisms {101} and {210} and pinacoids {010} and {001}. As with mt G2, the long axis faces are difficult to realestate measure because of the multiple-growth features on them; their indices range from judith approximately {1 10 10} to {155}. Crystals gap are a dark amber color and have long axis faces that appear to taper more than those of city G2. Most have convex surfaces produced by hillocks and uneven growth that occurred after the last resorption event listed mt in figure 4. The increase in taper is caused by the addition realestate of new growth judith at the base of crystals, gap increasing the base dimensions while maintaining the prismlike form. Crystals with G3 growth range from several millimeters to 6.5 city cm in length. Doubly terminated crystals are present and sometimes appear to be twisted on the a-axis because of uneven development on some long axis faces.
