These fibers radiate from a central town void, suggesting that initial development originated on a fragment of organic matter. montana The real nodules formed as isolated units in the shale and are found at estate the top of the bentonite bed that caps the barite concretion zone. Specimens are rare in the area covered; two finds that produced seven examples have been discovered so far.
